To our dearest Ozians,
It feels like it’s only been a clock-tick since the start of the year, but now our 2025 school year is wrapping up.
We hope you all have enjoyed a wonderful summative-filled month so far! But fret not, the break is soon and we hope you all spend some time resting, celebrating, and dancing through the holidays ahead.
As you read our Winter 2025 Print Edition, be on the lookout for reviews, games, puzzles and more! You’ll find pieces such as a review of Wicked: For Good done by yours truly; an interview on Mr. Pike, our beloved biology teacher; and an article that tackles the most confusifying question: How is childhood obesity getting normalized by Santa Claus?
A huge thank you to our amazing reporters, photographers, and Newspaper staff for all the hard work that they put in to create this Printed Edition of the AIS Newspaper. Because even during summative season, we are always able to pull through and get out our newspaper for you guys! We hope you find this Winter Edition fun, creative, and rejoicify for the end of the year!
And just as someone told me lately: everyone deserves a chance to fly! And if you’re flying solo, then at least you’re flying free. And don’t forget! That nobody in all of Oz, no wizard that there is or was, is ever gonna bring you DOWN 💜!
We love you all as much as Cynthia Erivo loves Ariana Grande. We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings us!
Signing off,
Your Editors-in-Chief,
Elphaba, Glinda, and Boq
