The IHOT Robotics team is back and already making waves in the 2024-2025 season! With excitement building for the build season next semester, the team is off to a strong start.

IHOT started the season with an impressive showing at GRITS, held October 17-19 at the Dalton Convention Center in Dalton, Georgia. GRITS is an off-season competition that serves as an introduction to new members of existing teams to enhance their skills before the main season. At the competition, we were able to score many points, leaving us ranked among the top ten teams at the competition. We were then able to be captains of Alliance 4 and make it all the way to Match 9 of the playoffs, a strong feat for the mostly new captains and team.
On October 23rd, IHOT showcased their hard work and innovation during the annual sponsor night, making it a great success. As the leaders showed off their divisions from operation to programming, they kicked off the night with a brilliant presentation of the work they achieved last season and how they prepared for the upcoming season. Finally, to wrap up the presentation, our drive team pulled off a brilliant demonstration as the robot received the scoring piece and launched it into the air, as members of the team and audience caught them demonstrating the build and programming team's hard work over the season. IHOT also collaborated with the Atlanta Community Food Bank this December, continuing their mission to make a positive impact both on and off the field. With a strong start and ambitious plans, IHOT is ready to take on the challenges of another incredible robotics season!
